The thornless honeylocusts are nearly bare, but as darkness descends, the trees sparkle with tiny Christmas lights. I love the fall in Chicago. The warm rain is falling in sheets, and the clouds are flying past my window, blocking the Sears Tower. I could watch the storms for hours. It is my idea of a perfect evening at home in Chicago.
